Out for Blood

Xcor
-His left hand gripped the scythe midway to the blade, a stained soft cloth wrapped around the fingers of his right. His lover had served him well this eve. Her blade had been thirsting for the blood of the enemy. That stinking, midnight flow brought him a near orgasmic rush the instant his girl had loosed it from the neck of the lesser he'd faced. Carefully wiping her clean, meticulously inspecting her edges for dulling or damage, his steady fingers worked her back to shining, deadly glory. His eyes shifted toward the door as his senses registered the presence of one of his own. Bent over his labor of love, he snarled to the empty room.- Tell me you've found what you were sent for, or pray that you'll make it back before sunrise. I'll have ye tossed out on your ass if you've returned empty handed.

Throe
[He knew Xcor would be waiting and was not surprised to hear him. Leaning into the wood of the door, he dared not open it without proper permission] no..I did not find the females I sought but I did find one you might be interested in. Can I come in? [He knew the games the son of the Bloodletter played and he knew if he wanted to gain audience, he would have to play them so he waited.]

Xcor
-Uttering a curse beneath his breath, he turned his beloved slowly in his palm, her brilliant steel reflecting the dim light back to him. Hearing that Throe had failed to procure the females grated hard against his temper. Twasn't as though his countenance had been featured to deter the dealings. Shaking his head as he brought his lips to his blade, thanking her for another night's performance of perfection, before drawing his body up from the chair to rest her against the wall. This did not bode well. He and his Bastards grew restless with hunger and the need for a release that wasn't of the killing variety.- Make it worth my while, or you'll find you've run afoul with my temper. -He raked his large hand back through tangled hair, dismissing the disappointment as though it were unimportant.

Throe
[That tone. He was achingly familiar with it, it was a mood you could not trust. Wiping the snarl from his lips, he opened the door and nodded indifferently in greeting as he entered and closed the door behind him] tonight I bore witness to a vampire child who possessed the eyes of the one who struck down your great father. [He waited for his news to sink in in hopes to quell a fit of temper]

 Xcor
-Shaking his head as though to clear it, he fixed his gaze on a point just over Throe's shoulder. The bile roiling in his gut led him to  distrust his ability to not rip through the warrior's throat to get the information out immediately. Clenching his fists, reliving flashes of that fateful night. The eyes that were filled with diamond fire and ice cold vengeance still haunted him. He snapped his eyes in line with Throe's, a chill as cold and black as the depths of Dhunnd emanating from his rigid body.- You. Saw. WHAT?

Throe
[He held in the smirk as he told the story] I spied a human female with a young and approached..she had the scent of vampire all around her. [he dared not admit to wanting to protect the female from the one he still searched for] It was obvious that the boy in her arms was a half breed. When I looked upon the young..I beheld the eyes. Colorless and full of fire. The female noted my astonishment and took refuge in a car driven by a doggen. The car drove East. I did not follow though I believe she has friends or relatives in the vacinity of the building in which I found her. [He knew it would not be good enough for Xcor but that was all he had.]

Xcor
-His mind making connections faster than the words fell from Throe's lips, he ground his jaw tightly, his muscles tensing at the phrase "I did not follow...". Baring his fangs, extended to long, lethal points, he closed the distance in an instant. Throe's eyes widened in half-second before a heavy fist landed against his cheek, knocking Throe back into the heavily boarded window. Sneering viciously, he stood over the furious warrior, spitting his words with venom.- You didn't follow. YOU DIDN'T FOLLOW? You hast nary a worthwhile thought in yer thick skull, and you neglected to think mayhap it would behoove ye to follow forth with that chase? -He reached to grip Throe's shirt collar tightly in his fist, dragging the warrior from his crouch and directing him with a hostile shove toward the door.- Ye will take us where ye'd seen the female last. Then, then ye shall follow what few senses the Scribe's seen fit to give and lead us hence. -He retrieved his scythe from her resting position, her gleaming head singing a siren's song to those who stood in her path.-

Throe
[He should have expected the violent outburst and he cursed himself even as he flew back from the assault, his back hitting the boarded up window with a thud. Glaring up to Xcor from the floor, he merely snarled as he listened to the vampire make small marks of the work he had done this eve. It was only out of blind duty that he allowed himself to be dragged from the room toward the outer door, his swollen cheek red and angry, a trickle of blood seeping from between his lips where the tender flesh had been ripped by his teeth on impact. One day he would finally have enough..one day he would give the son of the Bloodletter exactly what he deserved but..not this night. Tonight he would take Xcor to the spot he found the female and wondered if there would be more violence when he was unable to make the scent for more than a block or two. He noted the surprised look on Zypher 's face as they passed into the common room and only shook his head, knowing the brother would understand that this was a don't ask situation]

Zypher
-Wise and silent was not his usual way of things but tonight he had made like a stone when the shouting had begun. Giving a single silent to Throe on his way out the door, he thanked whoever was listening that it was on the other male and not himself. He had been on the ass end of Xcor's anger too many times as of late and fuck if his ass wasn't tired.-

Xcor
-His boots clocked loudly against the planked flooring as he halted in front of Zypher, his foul mood rising exponentially as he repeated the orders he'd given Throe earlier this very night. Kicking his chin toward the warrior, he barked out gruffly.- You, take that pretty face of yours and gather up enough females for all. The ones who take payment, they'll suffice. -He pinned Zypher with a sharp glare.- Do NOT fail in this, lest ye wish to raise my ire further.

Zypher
-He nodded and answered simply- yes Xcor..I know a place to find these females. -His eyes flashed briefly to Throe in an unspoken apology, for he wasn't about to fail where the other bastard had. Stepping around the others, he dematerialized into the night and planted his boots firmly in the alley behind the tattoo establishment -

Xcor
-Directly on the heels of Throe, his shirt collar still tightly gripped, he released it only when they'd stepped free of the cabin's door.  A swift jerk of his thick forearm brought the bastard 'round to face him, every last cell filled with malice, with hunger for revenge.- Now, ye'll take me to where you abandoned the trail. We shall see if your error in judgment can be corrected. Pray it be so, for your very own skin, pray it be so. -Dematerializing in his bastard's wake, he breathed deep of the night air, smelling naught but the blood of the target of his retribution.
